Organised by Northumberland Park Decides and StopHDV
Question and Answer session to answer residents’ questions about the HDV and the Council’s plans for the estate.
7.00pm to 9.00pm – Thursday 16 November – St Paul’s Church, 60 Park Lane, London N17
Haringey Council tells council tenants, housing association tenants and home owners that they have a right to return if their homes are demolished by the HDV or by Lendlease, but that promise is a con trick.
The HDV has exclusion from formal Council policy on right to return (they say that a single move is more important), and their plans do not allow for the rehousing of housing association tenants.
At Love Lane, where supposedly there is a full right of return, Haringey Council tenants are being moved away permanently. 70% have gone already. At Love Lane, Right to Return means the right to leave the area, and not come back. We deserve so much better than this.
Members of the campaign will be on hand to give the facts and answer questions
