MIPIN is the international conference where property developers meet with Local Authorities.  Haringey are already heavily involved in plans for the HDV which involve only one company intending to undertake a massive transfer of public property.  We can only wonder what further 'pitches' to the private sector may contain, what is left to sell or transfer?

This reply shows that a total of £43.972 was spent this year.

Question

Martin Ball 17 April 2017

Dear Haringey Borough Council,

This request is for information about the cost of Haringey Council's attendance at the 2017 MIPIM conference in Cannes during March and what work each representative did there on behalf of the borough.

What is the total cost of the council attending as of 13th April 2017? Is this the final amount to be spent on the cost of MIPIM 2017. Is any other expendiuture planned in 2017 on this event?

Please provide a breakdown of the spend into Itemised expenditure for conference registration, production of a stand, payments to any company providing services to support the council attending, travel, accommodation, publicity materials, and any spend over £499? How much did the regeneration model displayed on the stand cost?

Please provide details of how the cost of MIPIM 2017 was paid - from what budget and on what date- and any sponsorship generated to pay for the council's attendance. Please provide details of the sponsors and any monetary or in-kind support they provided.

I understand the Haringye Council representatives were
Cllr Alan Strickland, cabinet member for regeneration and housing
Cllr Joe Goldberg - cabinet member for Wood Green Heartlands regeneration scheme
Lyn Garner - Director for Regeneration
Daniel Hawthorn - Assistant Director of Regeneration
Helen Fisher - Director for Tottenham Regeneration
Is this correct? Did anybody else represent the council?

Please can you confirm::
What registration fee was paid for each of the reprrsentatives?
What dates each attended?
The cost for each attending?

Please break down each attendees' cost down into travel and accommodation. In addition, I would like to know the travel arrangements for each to get from their journey start to Cannes and return to their home paid by Haringey Council. Also provide details of the hotel where each stayed as part of attending MIPIM.

Please provide the council diaries of each attendees so that it is possible to learn what conference sections they attended, what individuals and companies they met, and what dinners or receptions they attended. If this is not available in a diary format, then please provide a day-by-day breakdown of the activities of each representative.

Thank you in advance for this information.

Yours faithfully,
